Banelec are happy to announce that we have recently taken on an apprentice at our premise in Brierley Hill. This opportunity has arisen over the last couple of month as we have considered ways to expand the business and offer the younger generation of today a brilliant opportunity to develop trade skills.

Aaron Heathcock joined the Banelec on 31st July 2017 and has already learnt a lot about what our engineers do in the workshop. In just his first few weeks we have already had him laying out back plates for our control panels, taking into consideration the wiring of the components.

Aaron is 16 years of age and has made the decision to learn a trade, and hopes to progress into a career in the electrical engineering field. It sounds like he may even want to follow in our Managing Directors footsteps and have his own business one day.

He will start his education in September after a month of hands on experience in our workshop learning first hand from the amazing team we have here. Things are already looking promising as he is eager to learn and is willing to take on any challenge we present him with.
